Tascam DR-40X håndholdt stereo optager
DR-40X er en alsidig fire-spors lydoptager til musik, podcasting, film og alle andre projekter, der kræver lyd af høj kvalitet. Baseret på den meget succesfulde Tascam DR-40, tilføjer denne nye model flere nye funktioner til det allerede omfattende funktionssæt.
Et par cardioide kondensatormikrofoner håndterer selv høje lydtryks-niveauer og kan indstilles i AB eller XY retning til et bredt stereofelt eller ekstra klar gengivelse med reduceret faseforskydning mellem begge kanaler. Brugere kan også bruge deres egen mikrofon eller line-level kilde via dual Neutrik XLR / TRS combo jacks, der understøtter både mic niveau og +4 dBu linjeniveau fra mixere eller FOH konsollen.
Mikrofon preamps omfatter 48 volt phantom power og masser af gain for at fange alt fra hvisken til høje lyde.

Tre forskellige automatiske niveau-indstillinger (Limiter, Peak Reduction, Auto Level) kan bidrage til at forhindre utilsigtetforvrængning under optagelse. Du kan anvende en ud af seks rumklangseffekter til indgangseller udgangssignalet, og en Overdub-funktion tillader stemmer eller instrumenter at blive tilføjet til eksisterende lydfiler. Der er også en Level Align-funktion, der gør det muligt at udjævne eventuelle pludselige udsving i volume under afspilning, og der er indbygget en indbygget højttaler til hurtig tilbagekald (check-back).
Andre funktioner som variabel audition med lav hastighed, lavfiltrering, kromatisk tuner og mere kan vælges fra menuen. Den nye dikta-tilstand gør det muligt at springe frem og tilbage i forudvalgte trin, mens du afspiller en fil.
